Best Coffee in Louisville, nicest down to earth baristas (Elizabeth)

I always frequent Days Coffee shop. They know what I want as soon as I walk in. It is very spacious, it has two rooms. They also serve desserts bagels, juices in case you don't do the coffee thing. Very freindly atmosphere. I honestly don't like going anywhere else. This place has my vote, and obviously alot of other folks or it wouldn't still be around. Try it out, I guarantee you will be hooked. Wifi is available.

Pros: Friendly staff. Tasty coffee. Large seating areas

Cons: Wish they were open 24/7

One of my favorite coffee places in town.

Ignore the previous reviewer "Igorslavin" who clearly was out to bash Day's Coffee for some sort of personal agenda, with ridiculous, hate-speech-filled, and libelous comments like "pretentious ultra liberal, gay-filled cesspool", "The outside tables are full of drooling old packers who leer at every passerby, desperate for a trick", and "In fact, cross the street and avoid the storefront altogether". Sounds like somebody has issues! I frequented Day's Coffee for three YEARS before I even knew that it was sometimes popular with people of alternative lifestyles, so it certainly does NOT knock you over the head with liberalism. It's a coffee place. People go there and drink coffee. That's all. Visit it and see for yourself - they have great coffee and desserts, and have a much quieter, friendlier, laidback atmosphere than a lot of other places. I've been to all the coffee shops in town, and Days remains one of my very favorites. I've also held business meetings there in the side area, and everyone found it most pleasant.

Good coffee, bad crowd

Hesitant to give only 2 stars, since the coffee was up to par with Heine's, at least. The atmosphere, however, is most disconcerting to anyone of the heterosexual orientation, to be sure. Folks, Day's Coffee is nothing more than your typical pretentious ultra liberal, gay-filled cesspool of wannabe intellectuals who espouse such excruciating comments as, "Killl your TV, I only read Kafka." The outside tables are full of drooling old packers who leer at every passerby, desperate for a trick. My recommendation: skip Day's, go further south (or north) to either of the Heine bros.. In fact, cross the street and use the east side of Bardstown for your trek and avoid the storefront altogether.
