My family has enjoyed Masterson's for years, so I am happy to find this opportunity to make a review. It has been our special place to go for family celebrations for at least 20 years. We have gone several years for the Thanksgiving buffet, and often for Sunday lunch. Live music is often part of the dining experience as well. My mother's wedding rehearsal meal was there several years ago, and we had a delicious buffet feast of our own set up in the sunroom area. We like the homestyle cooking, good service, the cozy atmosphere and the fact that Mastersons is one of our hometown businesses. All those desserts? That's the bonus of enjoying a restaurant that is also a catering business! If you are tired of the chain experience, give Mastersons a try!

I decided on my birthday to go for Sunday brunch at Mastersons. I was treated to a small buffet of southern comfort foods. There were more desserts there than entrees or appetizers. My waitress never refilled my drink for me and was extraordinarly slow to pick up dirty plates so that my family and I could enjoy our meal. They're lucky to get two stars from me. They're very pricey and their food isn't spectacular. I expected more and was treated to less.

Terrible! Coordinator disregarded seating chart requests. Paid services were not rendered (guests had to move their own chairs). Servers were caught eating the hors d'oeuvres in the kitchen 20 minutes in to the cocktail hour! Would not recommend Masterson's...especially not for the biggest day of your life. Very disappointing.
